 Subject: Pcv Valve

I went to replace my pcv valve on the passenger side of the engine on my 2000.........Pulled it out and its just a straight through valve no ball or anything? Its mopar so it came with the truck. Any idea why I dont have a pcv valve?

The right side is breather vent hose and left side should be your PCV valve like Prob.child and where my 02' is should be same location unless someone removed or relocated unknown as you stated ??? but why???
