Subject: Acetone IP: Logged
Message: Forget it - unless maybe you are a
Computer whiz.
Dodge ECM computer whiz that is, and maybe even then= no good - actual drop in mpg.
Might possibly work in winter , especially in below zero areas , but NOT in summer.
I saw in a 'hydrogen ' addition setup
where the "inventor " had a special gizmo
to connect in to the O2 sensor line to tell the
computer that the "mixture" or air/fuel ratio
was what it was looking for.
If you had this , then acetone might be ok
otherwise -= O2 sensor and ECM think it does not have enough fuel and sends more..

Message: do some more reading
you need 100% pure acetone
if you tried it and had a drop in mpg's
read the back of the can you used
it wasnt pure

Message: Someone needs to stick this in a Dakota with like 300,000 on her. And test her out. Id love more mpg but not at the cost of my engine.......
