i got someone to pay 195+10 shipping on ebay for my jet 2 and i was thinking of selling my airaid and getting a K&N intake. But i forget which one actually will fit on the 2000 V6. Something about relocating cruise control...right???
anyway...
for a 2000 V6 with no cruise control which one will fit or will they both fit??
the KN-1509(1997-1999) 5.2/5.9L or KN-1517(2000-2001) 5.2/5.9L???
think I'm gonna get it from Bernd(best price)... Is it worth it though to go for airaid to K&N(assuming that i can sell the airaid)(e-mail me if you want it($120neg))

i might be interested in that airaid. how long have you had it (years/miles on it? estimate) did it come with any kind of warranty like K&N does? where are you and about how much you think it would be to ship?

um Ive had it since sept 2001...i think...the filter is a K&N I think. If anything it could use a little cleaning...but its not that bad. It really helps. I took it out yesterday just to check and I really missed it so I put it back. shipping will be like $10. its in good working order(its just a filter and a tube not much can go wrong.) I'm in long island ny...if your close you can come get it if you want to inspect it or something. a couple wires on the bottom are slightly bent(dont know whether it cam that way or not) but not enough to effect anything. I have a recent photo of it too...
yep somebody paid 200...lol...its almost new though...not that that matters. actually had 9 bidders in 1 day.
