Subject: 31's and gas IP: Logged
Message: I currently have 255/65/16 tires on the stock 16 in rims. if i bump my tires up to 267/70/16 how much of a decrease in mpg will i see if any? any sugestions on some AT tires would be helpful (ie destination ATs any good???)

Message: I wish I could tell you but there are far too many variables to predict how much of a decrease 31's will give you. It probably will decrease your mileage, unless someone has your exact set up it's a scientific wild ass guess.

Message: I run goodyear wrangler rts all the way around on my 2wd dakota with a 3.9l v6 have been doing so for 90,000 miles I drive 80% highway and get about 18.5 mpg with a manual transmission and some extra weight tool box and push bar my speedo is 3 mph off roughly now but I like the ride and first gear with the 3.21 rears is plenty low enough to pull it from a standstill without excess rpm or clutch slippage I am glad I made the switch car tires don't belong on a truck
