Message: my 04 i just bought i noticed has the clutch fan, and another electric fan. is the electric just auxilary that kicks on at high temps? could i take the clutch fan right off and just use the electric? im already plannin on putting an electric fan kit on, but if i dont really need to, i wont bother.

Message: You can just remove the clutch fan. The electric has enough capacity to cool the truck. That said, it waits until the temp reaches 220 before it comes on. Little warm for my liking. You could buy an aftermarket fan controller for it though.

Message: the aux electric fans are set to come on with demand for a/c and engine tmep above 130 deg F or 210 deg F. i think Advance Auto has one for about 20 bucks.
i've run my '00 QC 3.9 w/o the clutch for the last 2.5 yrs. no adverse effects at all.

3000 cfm no less elect fan and if your running
A/C on a hot day city stop and go no the elect
fan that comes stock is not enough
The axsilery elect fan comes on with a/c clutch
or at over 200 degrees not a good idea to just
use this fan

Message: j and j, is there a certain complete kit or fan that you would suggest? i dont want a universal, im afraid i'll spend more time riggin crap together and making brackets than it would be worth.
