Subject: I Need help with replacing stock muffler IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2002 dakota quad cab 3.9 I plan on only changing the muffler. Can some tell me if i need offset in and out or center in offset or which one will replace the stock muffler with the least modification. And also which muffler does everyone recomend that I go with. Right now im thinking of going with a flowmaster 40 series delta flow.

Message: I went with the Dynomax Super Turbo. Loved it. Easy to install. So far Summit is the cheapest I have found. You can call summit and get a factory replacement.

Message: dude,
stick with your first choice. the Flowmaster Deltaflow 40 series. they will give a nice tone to your V Sixer. trust me you'll love it. also if you decide to slap on some headers then it will be the right combo. i have the same set up and am very pleased with it. just my 2 cents.
Mahalo,
Scotty

Message: I'd say go with the flowmaster 40 series delt flow too. Very nice, I love the sound (if a bit high piched at high rpms). I noticed a little performance gain, mainly in the top end.
