Message: Ive had the same problem, it was about 3 months until i finally got mine, he is a father and has another job. Hes a busy guy, yet this is no excuse i think, But he doesnt always have stock of the F&B throttle bodies, so he has to order them direct and sometimes it takes a while for him to get them because they ship them to him in bulk.

Message: Most places have the items drop-shipped directly from the manufacturer...which sucks if the place it's being drop-shipped from has them back-ordered since then it goes back on the company you ordered them through instead of the company technically at fault.
Last I heard, there's a shortage of a bracket or something for the F&B throttle body's and that's what's been causing a huge wait on orders...
I'll agree there should be more communication between all the companies and their customers however.

Message: I tell you, I have never had a problem contacting Sam. I really great guy. I talked to him for like half an hour on a 360 swap. Very intelligent guy.

Message: Well, I tell you, unless you have already started to customize your truck and you are set on keeping the current one, I would just buy a truck with a V8 already in it. If you are set on doing this, I would consider doing what I am doing, get you a donor truck. I bought a 2000 wrecked Dakota with a 4.7 and only 60XXX miles on it. The interior and drivetrain were in great shape. I am just taking everything from the wrecked truck to mine. It might take time, but it will simplify the install because you will have all the parts. You can find a lot of wrecked Dakotas or Durangos out there. I was just going at first to buy a new 360 or maybe a 318, a built transmission and go from there, but the price list added up so quick. I got that out of my head real quick. If you have the pocket book anything can be done. Email me if you want to know anything.
