I Love my Dodge Dakota and I found this really great place where others like myself love and enjoy to drive Dakotas. They offer some great help and advice to improve and help you troubleshoot every problem that you might encounter with your truck.
But then, someone crosses the line. These people do not care about anyone, they do not care to help. They just want to hide behind their keyboards and just poke fun, give insulting remarks to questions of just ordinary people trying to make the best of what they have, or even get someone else's thoughts on something they have been thinking about.
I do not understand this, why do you come here? If you don't have anything to offer except for your disrespect for others.

Nope...it wouldn't...trust me on that. I run my own forums. You'll always have flamers, and if you wanna prevent automated bots, you gotta work your ass off for it. The problem resides more in the forum software and moderation...this older software doesn't support moderators. So if Mark wanted to enable moderators, he'd have to give them the same power he's got...which is one of the dumbest things a person can do, unless they REALLY trust those who are given the power. And Mark has an actual day job...he doesn't have time to go through and moderate these forums all day long.
I'm all for him upgrading the forums...even if it means losing all the forum data. I'd stick around. But honestly...how many would stick around if this site suddenly went from having HUGE archives, to nothing? Probably not a lot...it could destroy everything this site has become. I've seen it happen...that's why I started my forums and why I have more members than any of the "big" forums my members have migrated from now.
Just my $.02...

Curly has it wrong, because I posted under the name IDEA.
I have nothing to do with PROBLEM CHILD's post.
I was just giving him an option since I visit both sites.
www.DodgeDakotas.com (but rarely) only for a quick answer.
www.Dakota-Durango.com for men and women talking trucks,
and no kids, punks, flamers, b.s. artists, etc.
