so i've read quite a bit about this IAT mod .. i've got a 01' ext 3.9
and where exactly would i find the sensor and where on the hat
do i replace it.. will i feel any hp gain or any loss in fuel mileage or
is this just pointless?? will this mod do any wear on my engine i'd
like to give it a try today but just needed some answers first

the mod has worked well for some of us
and not good for others
only way to find out is try it
front of intake 2 wire plug
just above the fuel injector

once the computer learns the new location it did make a difference in my truck but i have a 5spd and i heard the timing is set a little different with them. a good place to put it is on the air hat. there is a little flat spot on the round part where the air hose hooks to the hat that makes a perfect drilling spot for the new location. i had much better response and power but slight decrease in gas mileage. It's give or take!! will work better with other mods too! if gas wasnt so dam expensive i'd relocate the sensor in a heartbeat! i put it back to factory. all your other sensors need to be in excellent working condition or you mpg will suck, learned that one from Larry.
