Subject: Stop Pinging!! IP: Logged
Message: Have:
Brand new NKG FR5's gaped to 040
MSD coil and 8.5 wires
New cap and router.
New O2 sensors (both b4 and after cat)
And it still happens...
Also headers, F&B TB, and CAI.
Plugs - just pulled Bosh 4+ all light tan.
Installed Superchips 91 oct setting
Pings like sh*t.
Any Ideas?

Message: either uninstall the Superchips 91 program or run 93 octane gas. you may also have a vacuumm leak somewhere like the plenum gskt.

Message: Are you sure the gas is all 91 octane...I think when Daffydak switched to his 91 octane program, he'd put 91 octane in, but still had quite a bit of 87 or 89 octane in and it mixed it just enough that it pinged like a mofo til he added a few bottles of octane booster (til he could fill up with more 91 octane).
Also, here's a site with a lot of good info on what causes pinging and what you can do to avoid it...
