Message: Just installed my Halo's this weekend in my 02CC 3.9 4X4. Had 22,000 miles on Bosch Platinums when I decided to try the Halo's mostly because of the various recommendations I've been reading. What I noticed was smoother running and better response at the low end. With the Bosch's, my truck seemed to first suck back when depressing the gas pedal but did not feel this with the Halo's. Overall I'm pleased with the performance but jury's still out on gas mileage. I'll check it over the next month and report back. It was getting 17.4 mpg with the Bosch's.

Message: The Halo plug is a very drastic change to the
combustion chamber and takes time for the comp
to readjust to the faster burn speed
I am very glad to here you say you noticed the
improvement this tells me your sensors are good
With the halo in all the mag motors the first
thing you notice is the off idle low end increase
in both power and response
Now the mid and top end will take 50 to 200 miles
for the computer to compensate for the change on
a truck with all the mods and bolt ons more like
200 to 500
The farther you are from stock tables the lionger
it takes
Than your mid and top end will improve and I mean
noticeable seat of the pants noticeable improvement
Oh ya and at this time if you drive normal to
easy you will see the mileage gaines
I am still hanging around 23.5 24mpg all diff
driving mixed but it is warmer now so we will see
if it goes up even more
I still stand by my guns on the halo It's the best
plug out there for the mag motors S/C or natural
