Subject: wiring problem

just re done my wire splices behind the fuse box and found three wires joined together but didnt go any where 2 grey and 1 black could these be earths,any ideas,many thanks

That sounds like what broke off from the wire splice.
I did mine today, and that was the color of the wires-one to starter relay, one to a/c relay, and the other to a/c fuse.

Follow the wires back to their source-should be the relays and the pink 30 amp fuse in the relay box on the fender well.
Yes, they all splice together to complete the starter and a/c relays circuit.
