ok heres one for you guys why do i got 3.21 rear gears.An why did i when it was bone stock run faster that someone with 3.55s?oh yeah i got 3.9 RC 5 speed just some thing to think about.

what year trucks had the 3.21? mine has the 3.55 a 97' RC auto. I killed a 5spd dak 2 weekends ago with basically the same mods as me he just had a diff. intake and no TB spacer(which wouldnt make a difference) so why did i get a lil over a car on him?

do you think i would gain any thing with a different gear or is it not really worth it.
Oh hey check this out i was takin my little brother home,we stop at a light next to a limited edition grand prix(really nice one at that)light turns green an we go for it,i had his head lights at my door(spone the tires to)till 2nd then i started pullin on him(broke loose in second to) still had him on my tail gate an slapt her in to 3rd an pulled about a half a car in front of him (broke loose in 3rd too) we finally backed off at about 100mph.I know he'd kill me above thatbut i thought that was cool i need to find out what those run i know there quick an last year i got beat by one with some work done to it.

You think 3.21 is off (thats Gen 2 and some 97 gen 3's) well my 87 4x4 3.9 has a 2.71 rear it says on the sticker but I am guessing its that way since their is no OD gear just the lock up torque converter.

it would help the take off but require higher rpms to do higher speeds.
