Message: Had the truck a little over three years now and never a problem. Came home this morning then went to leave again a couple hours later and had the following problem...
Turned the key and nothing, no cranking, no dash lights nothing. Turned it a few more times and got the dash lights to pop up. Now I can hear the starter "clicking" but it just wont crank. Sometimes the radio display will stay lit when I turn it off and take the key out, other times it doesn't.
I held in the trip reset button, turned the key to on and it did the "chec....p done" routine but gave me nothing.
If I turn the ignition on the dash lights come on like normal then after a few seconds the MIL will blink 11 times then go back to solid.
Not a good way to start out a Saturday but I could sure use some advice here.
Thanks in advance!

Message: Battery can still have the volts needed to run windows and lights but the battery has to put out the AMPS inorder to turn over the truck. I would say its the battery. And if it is the battery in the end and u replace it make sure u test your Alt so its recharging your battery

Message: Loose connection or corroded connection to the starter or battery will cause this also.

Message: Well none of the replies came in time for me to get to work so I wound up having it towed...and yes, it wound up being the battery. With towing it ended up costing me $163.00...expensive lesson learned but I thank you all for the advice. I'll know next time.
