i have an 02 sxt 3.9 and have found a place to buy a 1998 5.2 V8 throttle body. will this work from my truck what can i expect from it?

I replaced the throttle body on my 1998 V6 Dakota with a stock 5.2L V8 throttle body. I noticed a significant improvement in throttle response at higher RPM’s. I had already replaced the exhaust and installed a better intake before I did the throttle body, so I don’t know it there will be as big of a difference if you have not already done the same. Remember to order a new throttle body gasket before you do the swap. Also, you will need a new throttle cable because the V6 throttle cable will not attach to a V8 throttle body. I got my throttle cable of a V8 Durango in a junk yard (older body style) and it worked great.

And if u dont want to replace the throttle cable just replace the clip or ball on the throttle linkage. Easy enough to drill out and replace with what u need. Thats what i did instead of costing me 25 for a new cable cost me 1.25 and an hour

i have a 93 v6 5-speed. My throttle body says holley on top by the barrels, under the aircleaner...Is this factory or aftermarket? Any help would be appreciated.
