Subject: IAT mod IP: Logged
Message: I did the IAT mod. have read if you move it too far from the engine it can trip a code cause it's too cold. i have a 2002 3.9 and i put mine right on the airhat where the factory hose from the airbox connects. there's a little flat spot and i drilled it right there, had to lengthen wires. so far no codes. is this a good spot for it? also, will i pass emissions with this mod and cooler thermostat?

Message: 6" from throttle body in bottom of air tube or
air cleaner depending on year
This is the best location readings from 90 to 120
If it reads below 50 it will trip code IAT volts
