2002, 3.9, 4X4
I'm trying to figure out which transmission I have, I'm almost positive it's a NV-3500, but then the AX-15 shows up on my searches. I want to replace the shifter and I want to make sure I order the right one.
I have crawled all around the trans, but can't find a thing to take me one direction or the other, and no one has updated data on their websites.

I'll bet if you take your VIN to a dealer, he can tell you exactly which transmission you have

NV-3500. it was the manual trans for '00 & up V6 or V8. there is a shifter out there for up to '00. it's because they changed the dash in '01. you can use the '00 shifter but have to make some kind of spacer i think. there are some posts on here somewhere you'll just have to search a little.
