Message: i saw the tubing for this at Lowes but can't find any pieces shorter than like 8ft. Also, when you cut these lengths do you just run a straight piece out of the airhat or are you supposed to run a straight piece than elbow it and bring it more toward the rad support where the flap is removed? does that seem like a whole lot of extra tubing. might have to make some type of bracket to support the tube while it sits where the factory airbox was. I'm really interested in doing this. Then when i move the IAT sensor where abouts would i mount that in the tubing (towards the filter, middle, airhat, etc?) also how will the IAT mod affect my gas mileage? thats really what i'm after! Is it ok to use rubber cement to glue these sections together. don't want the fumes to foul out my sensors. Are you guys using 3inch or 4 inch tubing. i will get a 6x9 K&N cone. your help would be most appreciated.
