Is it recommended to change out the spark plug wires when doing a routine tune-up?

Message: No need to change wires every tune up, but if still factory after a few years and miles it wouldn't hurt anything. Replace factory with some good quality stuff like MSD 8.5

Message: I replaced the factory wires with MSD 8.5s at around 36K miles...I now have 116K miles on the truck. Good idea to buy a new set of MSDs, or are these good enough wires to last a while longer.
Thanks for the help,
David
