Message: I have had alot of problems but no codes. I finally replaced the front o2 sensor and all the problems went away but now I am getting a check engine light. I had the codes ran and it came back with an p0306 and a p0320. I just looked at the plugs and they are definetly not tan but but still new looking white as can be. The truck is running fine but the check engine light comes back after being reset. What would be the proper thing to do to begin with? I think The truck has new plugs wires and cap but not absolutely sure as we have not owned it that long.

Message: Check your wiring to crankshaft position sensor no frays or open insulation and be sure the sensor is bolted and secured & For cylinder #6 misfire make sure ignition cable on, make sure tower off distributor cap is not crack, ignition wire itself resistance check 3,000 ohms min. to 12,000 ohms max. check your spark plug gap correctly and porcelain not cracked and if else check fuel injector #6 wiring to be and ck resistance to be 10.8 to 13.2 ohms at 68 degrees if you have stock injectors

Message: Well my son took the truck to his school today and in his auto tech class they put it on a scanner. He called and said it was the manifold gasket. Does this sound right to be throwing these codes? 1998 3.9

Message: start let idle with a spray bottle of water
spray along intake flange if it begains to miss
than yes its leaking
pletium gasket check
remove vent drivers side valve cover
remove PCV leave in hose pass side hold thumbs
over holes if blows out ok
if sucks in pletium leaking
yes this could cause a cyl misfire
after you spray with squirt water let run or drive
a bit so it drys
I would also check fuel pressure 49 + - 5 psi
If you used a bosch o2 sensor they lean out after
10 to 15,000 miles do not work right on these
trucks
ngk.com get the right one ngk ntk same as factory
cubic zarconian
fuel pressure and o2 both will run it lean the
plugs should be tan
