Message: Yes it does work I have it on all my vehicles
It does a few things
Raises the octain level of the gasoline
Cleans carbon from the cumbustion chamber
There are actualy contries that use this system
in place of cat converters to lower emissions
Lowers emissions
Adds some power, my personal opinion on this is
that it comes from cleaning the carbon out letting
the air/fuel flow better
What you notice is it helps low end torque no big
gain but it is noticeable
gas mileage gains from 1 to 3mpg
We have a local police dept that has been
instaling them on there cars
I have taken motors apart same motors with the PVI
the intake and combustion chambers are very clean
without carbon buildup
Califoria there is a bus company that installed
them on the desil motors and they quit smoking
That may be another reason my truck always gets
such good mileage, also many of my customers are
using them and have nothing but good to say about
the system
Mike or Herb PVI international canada
I would only get the system from these guys there
are companies out there selling systems but have
no platnium or rhodium in there they are fakes
You can read about it here I found on the V6 or
the V8 mag motors it workes better hooked to the
test port on the drivers side of intake instead
of the PCV line you can get a reducer from any
auto parts store to hook to this port

Message: it just hooks to a vac line to intake manifold
If you catch one of his sales you can get 2 units
for $165
The vac causes it to bubble causing fractination
and it pulls it into the intake travels with the
air into the cumbustion chamber

Message: Larry, what if you combined the PVI system with the Fuel Atomizer 2000. Obviously both would help, but what if you sent the atomized fuel through the PVI system? Just something to think about.
I have read all the info on both of these sites. Myself not being a chemist, limits my understanding of how the PVI system works, but the Fuel Atomizer 2000 makes sense.
I'm wanting to become a dealer for the atomizer here in Louisiana if it works on my truck. The closest one is in Kentucky.
BTW, are the '95 RAM V8 injectors comparable to the '92 3.9?

Two questions:
1) Wouldnt' installing platinum plugs have a measurable effect? I find that they don't.
2) If the platinum causes better combustion when it comes into contact with the air/fuel mixture, wouldn't it combust in the intake instead of the cylinders?
1 mpg gain for me would be 5%, not the 22% that they say is average. And if it costs $165, that's 63.5 gallons at today's price. At a 5% savings, I'd have to have normally burned 1270 gallons to save that much, which would take me 25,000 miles. That's a long payback - that's 3 years in my truck.

Message: If I'm not mistaken, the theory of the platinum plugs has to do with it's conductivity, not with it's reaction to the fuel.
The platinum and and fuel are not going to combust in the intake because the temp in the intake is not sufficient to cause combustion. The Catalytic converter can do it's job because the fumes (unburned fuel/air) are at combustion temp when they reach the cat. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
It would make sense to me if the better your MPG is the less difference this device is going to make.

Message: On this you need to make up your own mind
The 5.2 318 used 21 pound injectors
3.9 19 pound 92 to 99
in 00 they went to the 21
will they work yes but will run rich for first
2 3 min before o2 closed loop happens unless you
use a fuel controler

Message: Larry, I'm confused. Why is there a need for the regulator to allow 41 psi if the injectors only allow 19-21 psi?
Is it because the preasure is disbursed between 6-8 injectors?
I just don't understand.
