will 265/75/16 fit on the 02 2wd dakota. I want a little beefier stance for the truck plus i need some AT tires for my Job. any suggestions would be apreciated.

according to a web site called Tirerack.com orginal equipment optional tire size is a 255/65/16.... in that tire size there is a tire from GENERAL TIRE that is called Grabber AT2.... its got an overall rating of 8.8 on a scale of 1 to 10 on their site.... the 265/75/16 is more for the the 4WD dakotas and durangos...

if you have the 255/65/16's and go to 265/75/16's you're talking about a tire thats 2.5" taller than what you have now. you may have clearance issues without some kind of lift.

also your speedo will be off by 9%. reading 60 you'll actually be going 65.5.

could work.... pending if a AT tire is made in that size with an aggressive tread.... but still a chance for it to rub.... your cutting height a bit from a 75 to 70 but the width of the tire still might make it rub...
