2002 dakota wife is driving in the states, she says it has a code 0455 and it wont pass emissions....can anyone help her pass emissions.........thanks PROTECTOR OF THE USA JARED

P0455 is a a large evap leak. Either the gas cap is leaking or a hose is cracked at the canister (noticeable crack/tear). Someone is going to have to test the gas cap (or at least make sure it's on there correctly) and look under the truck for torn vacuum hoses. Also, check under the hood for any torn/cracked hoses near the battery (the purge solenoid is there as well).
Once that's fixed...you'll have to clear the codes which, unfortunately, also clears all of the emissions monitors. You'll have to drive the vehicle at least 50 miles for some of the monitors to run - allowing you to pass inspection.
