Message: well I just recently installed some eddlebrock shocks, they are pretty good just a little stiff, but still good. depending on what your budget is, but if you want a low price shock that is good, check out pro comps, not bad for the price.

Message: I've heard good things about the monroe reflex shocks. I think thats what theyre called. I actually put a set on the front of my 2wd 98 and theyre a little stiff but better then bouncing the tires all over the road.

Message: I put Monroe Sensa Trac shocks on my 2001 CC not long ago. $38.00 each at Advance Auto Parts. They work great and we don't exactly have the best roads around where I live. A nice solid firm ride, smooth on the interstate and good handling. Installation was easy too. The Monroe Reflex is good too, especially for hauling/towing. But they cost about 10 or 15 bucks more. NAPA has an OEM type that may not be too bad, about $20.00 each I think.

Message: The pro comp and rancho with over sized shafts and
1 1/2 mor fluid gas shocks around $69
summitracing.com
but we have found on almost all the replacement
shocks the bushings are junk and will smush out
and rattle in 20,000 miles the only cure for a
otherwise great shock is to replace them with
polyurathain from energysuspension.com than you
have a excellent setup
both also have the 5 way valve setup that self
adjust for high way or off road
any replacement gas shock will work but if you
drive lots of rough roads they don't last long
befor they lose there charge these are the $29
$39 shocks
you get what you pay for
