just wondering what everyone think of the flowmaster 40 series for the v6
it looks like this is a loud muffler? not something i want.
I just want to bring out the rumble the truck makes at idle and acceleration.
any recomendations.
P.S
also just to clarify, the 2000 dakotas have 2.5" exhuast?

but before i got an order one. I'm hoping someone can tell me if i have 2.5" exhuast pipe on my 2000 v6 dak

Flowmaster 40's are LOUD (I have one on mine)...the delta flow is quieter inside, but outside it's still LOUD.
If you wanna bring out that rumble, I've heard the Dynomax 17748 is one of the best mufflers to do that without being a nuisance. And yes, your stock exhaust should be 2.5".
