Subject: Trans pans IP: Logged
Message: summitracing.com has some good prices on extra
capasity trans pans
a re chrysler metal $52 chrome $82 1 qt more
summit deep alm fined 2 qt more $102
TCI what I just orderd $142 2 qt fined alm
mopar alm fined over $200 2qt
The summit pan comes just fined or with the
summit logo
Any pan listed for the 904 will fit the A500
same any 727 will fit A518
Adding 2 qts and fined alm to disipate heat is a
easy way to get your trans to run cooler last longer and the fluid stay cleaner longer
some come with filter, all come with gasket some
have new bolts
An easy bolt on way to extend trans life
I went with the TCI because I have there shift kit
in both my 95 4x4 and my A518 in the 94 sport
2 wheel with the 4.0 stroked motor this already
has the deep pan so I decided to put one on my
A500 in my 4x4
check it out

Message: Don't forget the adapter plate and some trans (year/model) require minor modifications.

Message: V6 dakota A500 42RH to 95 96 up A500RE
same as 904
2000 V6 A500 42RE
the A500 just has 1 angled corner on the pan
the A518 has a roundes section on 1 side and is
biggerjust look at the pic at the site and compair
to your pan
they come with the adapter
carfull here the V8 daks almost all are using
the 44 not the 46
a very easy way to check call your vin number
into any dealer they can call up a build sheet
from DCC and tell you exactly what you have
The TCI deeps do not recomend using the filter
extension
dip stick will remain the same and 1 very nice
thing about all these pans they have a drain plug
makes changing filterand fluid less messy than
trying to take the pan off full of fluid have
plenty of rags handy its a sloppy one
A easy way for better cooling and more fluid capacity
heat is what kills auto transmissions
