Message: ok guys i replaced the motor and fuel pump the truck ran fine then i came out one morning and it would turn over but no start. i checked the fuel rail and no pressure. I went to move it to the garage (using the starter) and after cranking the daylights out of it it started. but would not start again after that. so i figured the "splice" so a pulled the fuse box off and the tape to find that it had already been done nicely. i do have a cople of small issues with other conectors but the splice looks great. so now where do i go? its a 93 3.9. any ideas would be great. thanks mike

Message: You will need a little help on this.
Listen closely to that underhood relay box
as someone 'just turns key to on'.
Fuel pump relay [ at least] should 'click' on
after about 3 seconds it and ASD relay should drop.
During this same 3 to max 5 seconds , you may be able { if working } hear the fuel pump "whir ".
Those relays are identical -so you can switch them around to see if that helps.
Since you were at the fuel pump 'connector'
it may also be a good idea to inspect it closely
to be sure it did not come undone or is 'dirty' ??
