Well I sold my 02 Dakota SXT and I got a 04 VW GTI good gas mileage and good power. Not trying to bash on the truck or anything just saying good bye till dodge fixes the new dakotas. Have fun guys.

Funny you should say that Ryan because you should think before you say things that are that dumb because what is Daimler? Iam pretty sure Daimler Chrysler is German so technically your Dodge has a little Kraut in it somewhere.....

Actually, even when it was American owned, there was Mitsubishi mixed in the works. I have a 95 Plymouth mini van with the 3L Mitsu engine. They started using this engine in the mid 80's or maybe sooner. Mopar owns about half of the Mitsubishi Company.

ok, my truck was assembled in warren michigan, because of my dodge, workers in the united states have a job. and yes some of the profits may go to germany, but not the majority of it.

Actually a lot of VW were made in the US as well. Most production as since moved into Mexico, but there are still some made in Germany.

I listened to that buy american crap
so I decided to buy a new ford. took me 6 months to get it and then after i got it, I looked on the name plate and it said "MADE IN CANADA'"
It was a piece of crap car.
I knew a lot of guys that was in the UAW and they used to brag about the lousey work they did and I've toured there plants.
I've seen it.
