 Subject: Restrictor plate

I was wondering if anyone had expeirence in taking them off. i have ann 88 which dosent have much power as is, but im trying to get as much as i can out of it. woudl taking the plate off make it better? and also woudl everything bolt back on after i take the plate off?

Are you talking about the little plastic cover behind the grill where the air intake hose goes on? It just pops off. took of on my 93 dak and my 89 shelby dak. dont notice any difference except the filter gets dirtier faster.
