1988 Dodge 3.9 V6 Pick-up PROBLEMS!

Someone mentioned in my other thread "theres a barrel with about ten wires on it .open it and check the pins"

Can someone tell me exactly where I'll find this barrel looking thing, because I am not having no luck at finding it =(

When you start sometimes it stalls.
And when you pull the battery cable for 5 to 10 minutes it starts running again when you put it back on.
When you're driving and stop it sometimes stalls.
Computer shows up 14 map sensor electrical circuit
But I put a new map sensor on and still does the same thing.

This might sound funny but I had a stalling problem and it was related to the battery not running at the required voltage level to keep the computer powered up. I replaced the battery and the stalling problem went away. Maybe this will help, maybe not but you can check.

on or near the firewall on the drivers side there is a connector 1 1/2 round with 10 wires going into it. open the connector and check the pins for patina..or corrosion...clean with cokeacola....shake both sides let dry..then put on dielectric grease and put back togeather...personally i cut the connector out and wire by wire , solder them together and put shrink wrap on them....also check the connector on the pickup coil going into the distributor....i cut out that connector too....good luck
