Message: yes they keep the under hood temps down and
will retain more heat in the head cast iron
heads will produce better power runing hoter
on the exh side
Before you do the exhaust the intake side must
be improved or you will exp a low end torque
loss
spend your money wisly
cold air
bigger throttle body
1.7 rockers
now think about exhaust improvements
and a super chips 98 and up

Message: Larry Thanks for the help…
But to ask a little more and clarify.
I’ve done
Air Intake (AirRaid)
Coil and Wires (MSD)
Plugs (Bosh 4+, will chg to NGK later@ ur Recom.)
New Cap and Rotor (OEM Rep. couldn’t find better @ time)
Next
TB (Fastman)
Programmer (Super C. 3715)
Then
Headers (JBA – Ceramic, @ ur Recom. - ? Better/Same as Gibson)
Exhaust System (True dual too much?, Any recommendations?)
Then (Don’t know when or order but there on the list)
1.7 RR’s (Haven’t Researched yet, don’t know Brand or what is involved)
MSD 6a or BTM controller
19 lb Injectors
Nos
And Maybe

Any Input is appreciated
Hope I’m on the right track, this forum has been tones of help.

Message: Does the computer need time to learn new mods,
Meaning should you install 1 mod at a time and give the comp time to learn the mod before installing anouther mod.
Ie. FB TB and headers?
