When you start sometimes it stalls.
And when you pull the battery cable for 5 to 10 minutes it starts running again when you put it back on.
When you're driving and stop it sometimes stalls.
Computer shows up 14 map sensor electrical circuit
But I put a new map sensor on and still does the same thing.

Could anyone help me with these problems please?
Much appreciated!

Sounds like the computer is running in a closed loop when it runs right, and when you start having problems is when the computer comes online and starts running off the input from the sensors. Disconnecting the battery is resetting the computer.

Just because you got a map sensor code, doesn't mean that the map sensor is the culprit. There's a good chance that you have a problem in the connection to the map sensor. I'm willing to bet that from a cold start, the truck runs, but once it has come up to temperature, it begins to falter or fail right off the bat. Check your wiring connector first, to make sure you don't have any burnt or bent pins, etc. Had a Nissan Sentra that was that way. It would run fine until it got to temp, then it wouldn't stay running at idle speeds.

Could be an intake manifold leak too. You can't assume that the codes on the OBD1 systems point to the actual problem, they just tell you what is sending a bad signal to the computer ( out of range ).

Yup, make sure they all look the same. Shouldn't be any signs of arcing or corrosion. IF there is, then you need to clean them up and get a little disposable packet of electronics grease.

Could you possibly tell me where I might find this barrel lookin' thing at? Because I looked everywhere and cannot find it!

Would be appreciated if someone could tell me where exactly it is located on a 1988 dodge 3.9 v6 pickup

Thanks!
