this is my 2nd post today, not luck so far on the 1st one but i did only post it today.
so my 3.9l is 4WD, but i kinda forgot to strap down the rubber hoses that go to the vaccum lines, so it wont engage at all. im thinking there vaccum lines or some kinda coolant lines idk, i checked the junkyard and model dakotas of the same body style but none had that, they all had some electrical lines in the place of the hoses i had. its an 88, so i have no clue. there is 4 metal lines that run to the top of the transfer case, and then 4 rubber ones that connect to the transfer case, and 2 that lead out into a resivoir type thing near the gas tank. the metal liens dont connect the the transfer case themsleves but use the rubber hose instead.
if anyone knows what they are called or were to find them, would b a big help. recently put it into a ditch on a rainy day and i think that 4WD would or prob saved my butt.
