can u guys help me???
every time i put the accelerator to the floor i hear this loud "thud" or "bang" and it was after i hit a few big ass potholes. it happens through every gear that i can get the RPM down to about 1000 rpms.... so if i were in second gear and floored it doing about 20mph i could hear thids noise loud and clear...
can anyone give me advice to what this noise could be??
i thought it was the motor mounts but they look OK and if it were the motor mounts wouldnt i hear the noise when i was in park or neutral and i dont hear it in those 2 gears....
HELP!!!!!

If it is just ONE 'thud' or 'bang'
each time you do it = it is the motor mount...
If more than one each time = sounds like
"backfire" = one or more cylinders missing
and ignite in exhaust.
The mount 'drivers side' will [ look ok ]
however , if you look closer you will see that
it is ( catching ) on a [ protective ]
flange..
