Truck as excessive arcing when truck in placed in drive. Arcing thru new wires to them selfs and any metal.

sorry, not trying to insult you, but i'm not there. next dumb question:
are you sure they ar snapped all the way on to the plugs (sometimes you get a big burp of air in there, and the minute you let off they'll pop back off a bit.allowing arc to go to easiest ground source)
Also, you didn't put any grease or anything to ease putting them on. (the only type you can use is dielectric grease, it also keeps water/corrosion out of boot)

i had the same problem before, like a hundred times actually. if you ever take the boot off the plugs sometimes it pulls the metal clip out of the boot and it makes the spark arc to anything but the plug. usually i seen it arc right to the heat shields around the plugs, which suck by the way. the only thing I could recommend is to replace the wires again, and use the die-electric grease when you put the new ones on. I've learned that the wires come apart when they are warm, so if you ever take them off make sure the engine is cold.
