My 1993 3.9L V6 had a fire close to the fire wall due to a stupid mechanic mistake.
Although I have rewired most of the things that appeared damaged, the electronic overdrive no longer works. I think the wiring was probably damaged, and although I have wiring diagrams in my Chilton's, it doesn't tell me where the connections are physically located.
The area that was primarily damaged was between the engine and the fire wall. Does any body have any info they can provide about where the two ends of those wires are as well as colors?
Thanks, in advance.

Larry,
You're the best.
That is exactly what I was looking for.
Out of curiosity, what is the best way to get at the wiring on the transmission - from underneath - or inside the engine compartment (left or right)?
Thanks.
