i have a 3.9 5 speed with a 3 inch body and 33 ssr's, but i want the extra step. do you think i could get away with the 5 inch lift and 35's?

or does anyone know some one who has 35's on a 3.9?

well, I'm almost 100% positive it is possible. I don't know how well you are going to be able to turn lock to lock without rubbing and if you still have stock gears in the rear end it's probably gonna wear a little on your clutch. it would be sweet to see a dakota with 35's, dont think I ever have.

I have seen this done dont know whos it was but it was taller then my buddys F-250.He had 6 inch lift 40in tires and 20 inch rims (my buddys truck)

I am positive that the clearance needed to get past the body/frame rub would be insane. To be honest, I would think that you get some rub with the 33's. I have the beloved 32x11.5x15 BFG TA KOs and they will still rub the body mounts during extreme articulation.

And FYI, I have seen 40's on a Dak and the kit was completely custom and the guy needed a rope ladder to get in his truck!

I have many customers with 35's but they also
went to 3.91 or 4.10 gears it takes more power
to turn them

3" body and 3" suspension lifts

with this setup there is not much the dakota will
not go threw

also a ram with a 12" skyjacker lift thats nuts
need a ladder to get in LOL
