what is it with hondas, why do so meny people hate them? is it because they can run a 13 sec. 1/4, and still get 30 mpg. or is it because my civc was maid in ohio, while your dodge was maid in mexico by some wetback who get paid less then $1.oo per day.
maybe thats why my dads 2000 1500 ram burned a hole in the piston with less then 60,000 miles on it. think about the next time your broke down.

people hate Civics cause 1, everyone has one, so why would you want a car that there are so many of them on the road that for every person there is a civic.
Plus, trucks are built mostly to haul stuff and cause people like trucks. If you haven't noticed, this is a forum about trucks, and not honda civics.
so ofcourse we dont like civics, we like trucks thats why we have trucks and we are here.
think about it next time you are on a truck forum..

I have a 2000 Dodge Ram that I drive as a daily driver, I have done about $13,000 of work on engine and exhaust. But I also own an older model Honda NSX which can really kick some butt on the track, its has never been beat by any muscle car or truck at any race. I respect both trucks and cars, but I honestly think that trucks should be kept for towing and hauling.

I think that you can haul the honda on the trailer towed by the dodge...then you can get the best of both worlds, unlimited mileage on the honda, and have a way to get home when your oil pump burns out at 8000 rpm and spend over 6000 rebuilding the motor so that you can wrap it around a telephone pole at 100 mph..(true story)
make a long story short, he is still driving the dakota...the honda is in pieces in a scrap yard

Honda civics are so light!! I'd probably run 10 seconds in the 1/4 if I had a matchbox car with my 3.9L. It just goes to show that your not a true american. Go back to Japan and eat your pork fried rice!!!

Umm sorry for bringing up this old post again. Three.9HP, pork fried rice is a Chinese thing. Anyway, I don't hate Civics. You should take pride in a car or truck you can fix up. Anything you put your time and money into should be cherished by you. Just like everyone else said, everyone has a Civic. EVERYONE! I think some people just like to be unique. Good for Honda for making a very popular product. That's what companies do. Oh and one American car that whomps on Civics is the SRT-4. And i'm not about to fork over 80+ grand on an NSX.

The SRT-4 is German. Dodge is a German company so the SRT-4 is German. Dodge is a business unit of Chrysler which is wholly owned by DaimlerChrysler GmBH headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany.
