I guess I will have to pony up the bucks and be a site sponsor so I can post my business products every five minutes like you do. Really I don't mind you trying to sell a product, but some of your post are getting old. I was going to make the switch in my vehicles to amsoil, but I made the choice not to. I don't feel that it is a superior product. Every post by you is about how amsoil is better than everything else. That is an opinion. I have yet to see you post anything otherwise. Such as independent testing (not a tester swayed one way as in money being payed for advertising). It is just the same old manufacturer marketing hype that you get from Amsoil. I do feel that Amsoil does have SOME decent products, but not all of them.

I recomend the amsoil and have used it for years
even in my lawn mowers, both my john deere
tractors a 1992 170 and a 1995 GT275 in all those
years I finaly replaced a spark plug in my 92 170
just this summer
HUMM them old rings are sure holding up well no
blow by to foul the plug it still looked good
just stoped sparking
Now I have an old IH twin onan and a old bolens
both still run they lived on conv oil and both
foul plugs and burn oil
I think your right either to cheap to buy it or
just julious they are not an amsoil dist LOL
Did you catch the post about the mobil 1 amsoil
test sure dont change my mind about amsoil
I have been running royal purple in my motors for
like 3 years now everything else is amsoil in my
vehicles and that is only because I am such a nut
and crazy about horse power and they are the
only ones who have laid claim to an increase in
the world so I had to have it LOL and it did
show me a 3hp increase in my V6

4 dyno runs
2 186 2 189
no changes
3 runs with purple
all 191hp thats rear wheel hp
not a big gain but if you were me its a very big
gain I am a horse power nut case

the Amsoil guy is only trying to spread the word about his cool-awesome synthetic oil.Nothing wrong with that.As a sponsor,he's got the priveledge of forcing you to listen to his pitch.Like it or not.Not quite fascism as you would like to believe,but a bit pushy nonetheless.I don't mind the advertisements,though I have to wonder like some of the others here,IF Amsoil is such a superior oil then why after all these years(don't remember exactly how many years,but at least a few decades)is it still not a largely recognized name brand? I only heard of it a couple years ago,but it apparently has been around for ages.
I suspect (without knowing any better)that the Amsoil products are marketed much like the Amway products are.No middle man and every user/salesman is left to find his own customers.The users of said products are primarily the salesmen themselves and their immediate families/friends...
I suppose a product could be very good and the majority of people who've never been exposed to the product would never know about it(much like food-grade hydrogen peroxide).But for me,personally, when I looked into trying Amsoil,I had to go to a website and request a catalog.Once the catalog arrived and I saw not only that it had to be ordered through some marketing network from an authorized Amsoil dealer,but they are always looing for new distributors,it sort of turned me off to pursuing the Amsoil 0w 30 I am interested in trying.At least Royal Purple can be found on the shelf of my local speed shop.And nobody has asked me to be a Royal Purple salesman yet..

i have a honda lawn mower since 1997, changed the oil every year straight 30 wtg. starts first pull every time, dont need snake oil Larry....youve helped me in the past but how can you tell everyone that this stuff is the best...come on larry tell us your getting it for free or some kind of kickback!
