Considering that the rear axle is the 8.25, I have had that same diff in my 72 Swinger 340 for years, raced it and it even uses the NOS for fun and have never had a problem with it. With the NOS, I am approaching 500 HP so take it from there. Use it till it breaks, what have you got to lose.
