HI. I just bought a Dodge Dakota 2006, ST, 4x2, 3.7L. I went with
dodge because of the engine reliability. Is this true that they will
run for hundreds of thousands of miles? I have heard that dodge
engines are the best and will keep on running without much
trouble....

youve got one of the new motors
i dont know if there are many with "hundreds" of thous. miles on them yet
though i'm sure theres plenty with over 100thou.
now the 3.9's i could tell you yes!
200-300thou. and over
personaly know of one well over 350thou and still going dam well too!

The truck and engine will only last as long as you take care of it.... treat it like crap and it will fail you .....
