Message: Dont use any carb and throttlebody spray cleaner on the TB. Get a new gasket to mount it to the manifold, take the TB off, remove the three sensors and use some soap and water in a bucket with a tooth brush. replace the sensors (after its dry) and then put it back on. Reconnect the wires and linkage. For the injectors to be properly cleaned you should take it in, but look at replacing them with the Ford injectors from fiveomotorsports.com. It is cheaper to buy these than it is to have your originals professionaly cleaned. I pulled my injectors out and used some brake parts cleaner sprayed into the inlet side to get out the loose gunk in em. It helped some. Its not rocket science to do these jobs and I understand everyone is mechanicaly inclined, but the way dodge has these engines set up, you cannot put anything in the wrong place.

Message: The reason you should not use the carb n throttle body cleaners is they eat through the vally pan gasket wich will cause more problems, and they do not clean some of the places you need to get clean. The gasket is about $1 at most any auto parts store like Intense said. The cost of the Ford motorsports injectors are about $115. You will need the type II. Call Bruce at fivo if interested. Yes it actually does cost more to get em cleaned professionally. It is worth replacing them with the Fords(much better injector). To change the injectors it is simple. You will have to disconnect the clips and undo a few bolts to get the rail off. First remove the air filter housing. The injectors have orings that pop into the intake manifold(no unscrewing necessary there). Just take your time doing it. It will only take a couple of hours to do the whole thing start to finish. If you get stuck just hop on the site and ask. Try looking at this web site for some photos and help. www.fast4x4.net He has some good pics of his work and good instructions to.

Message: no, the pour in stuff won't hurt the engine any, but they won't help much either. i've never seen one of those things work (just my view). if anyone has any positive information i'd love to hear.
