 Subject: split intake

I had a crazy idea the other day.
would it be a good idea to split my intake into 2 filter. I would have one filter just to the left of the stock air hat and then another filter down by the front fender well. just a though i saw somthing similar on my buddies mustang.

There is an intake setup that has 2 incoming
air intakes just run 2 tubes to it
Think its the 360 airz setup
looks like a regular round air cleaner but will
not fit the G3 trucks will hit the hood

I have my own thoughts on this. If you double the intake tubes, you cut the air speed in half allowing the air to heat up more before it can reach the engine. Just seems logical to me
