Subject: 93 stalls, please help IP: Logged
Message: My wife ran out of gas one day, I put fuel inthe truck and it would not start right off. After a few minutes my truck finally started, but died twice on the way home. I changed the fuel pump, air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs and finally took it to a mechanic. He has yet to find the problem the only thing he has told me is that the fuel air mixture has too much fuel in it. I replaced the pcv valve also. please help if you may know what my problem is. thanx

Message: o2 sensor if bad will richen the mixture
sucked a piece of dirt and got into an injector
holding it open
look at the plugs are they black or just 1 of
them
A bad map sensor can also cause this telling
the computer its under load when its not
bad throttle position sensor also will do this
you need a good mech with a scanner to watch
these sensors in operation
