Message: I was looking to buy a CAI but i don't wanna spend alot of money. On ebay they have some cheap like the Chrome Intakes, and some other brands. they both have K&N filtesr and 3" tubes. I was think that these couldn't be any worse than a homebrew system. has anyone tried them and how did they work???

Message: Why dont you try making a homebrew if you figure they can't be any worse. Should be cheaper...plus while you're in the process you might come up with a different design/positioning for you intake and you can change it accordingly. You buy one of those cheap ones off E-bay theres no changing it.

Message: actually by the time you pay for the pvc or abs or whatever you prefer you are gonna pay a little more than buying one from chrome intakes. i have one from them and i didnt get the kandn. There fiter is ok but i think kandn is much better. the fit is perfect and it looks pretty decent. i suggest buying one from them.
