Subject: Low Wash IP: Logged
Message: Hmm. I had the Low Wash light come on in my dash. Actually, it comes on after a few minutes of driving. I originally attributed it to stopping or turning or accelerating to fast and the fluid level was just low enough to trip the warning. Only problem, it never went out until I turned the truck off. So, I buy some washer fluid from Walmart today and fill it up. Still have the light on.
This thing isn't connected in any way to anything else, is it? Or do I have a faulty sensor in the fluid tank?
It's too damned cold to be pulling it apart just for a light, I'm more concerned that it has anything to do with any other problem I might be experiencing ( though I seriously doubt it based on common sense alone ). Just figured I'd better ask those who've had the truck(s) longer than I have just in case.

Message: Mike,
Where are you that it is so cold?
I'm in NC, and it was 80 yesterday.
Sorry, don't have any experience with the washer.
But now that I've said that, it will be the next thing that fails. hehe

Winter's here. Interestingly, down south of the cities, they got 12 inches of snow. We got nothing.
They got 3 degrees the next day, we got just below freezing.

Message: just a follow up...the light went off on its own, the sensor must have just needed to be immersed in fluid long enough to get the right reading.
