Has anyone had to deal with this error code before? The truck seems to run and drive fine. I went to allpar.com to see what the code meant, it said: A large leak has been detected in the evaporative system! Any advice as to what this could be is greatly appreciated.

Tighten up the gas cap..
If it is tight - you may need to get a new one ...

Sometimes the rubber lines in the evaporative system can crack that are located at front of the fuel tank. Check those out they have been known to crack prematurely.

check all vacuum lines going from under the hood to the canister and going to the gas tank... check the rubber o-ring thats on the gas cap... if it has any signs of drying and cracking replace gas cap... if any vacuum lines have any signs of drying, rubber flaking off or cracking replace.... unless you an EVAP smoker tester that you can hook up under the hood where the green cap is to fill the system with smoke tofind leaks thats your only bet...

Turns out that I had a brain fart and didn't tighten up the gas cap after filling up. The code is gone and hasn't been back since I tightened it.
