it sounds just right, not too loud, but you know its there. NOT RICEY. I believe it is a 11748?? Can't remember the number, someone else might though.

great muffler i would explain it the same way bludak has...
stick with the stock width piping though - 2.5 inch
1993 Dakota CC 3.9 auto
(Rebuilt engine, 19 lb. injectors, ignition & wires, 4.10 gears, LSD
exhaust, intake, lowered 4/4, rear anti-sway bar)

The stock pipe from cat to muffler on my 93 rc is 3" then 2.25" after, but now it is dual 2.5" after a magnaflow muffler. Sounds ok little high pitched but its ok. Anyone know of a muffler that is deep toned?

On my 98 slt clubcab I have jba headers to stock y-pipe to strait-pipe to a flowmaster 40 series delta flow, single out at 2.5" just over axel and dumped before the bumper. Sounds real throaty under 2500 rpm but once I hit that the sound gets higher and the truck pulls hard as hell. must be where all the torque is on the 3.9. overall i'm satisfied with how it sounds and the performance. of course its never gonna sound like a V8, maybe a real small one.

The flowmaster 50 and the dynomax the sound is
almost identical
Stock 3.9
max torque 230 @ 3200rpm
max hp 175 @ 4400rpm
If you lower the back pressure to much the low
end torque will also start to drop off
