Subject: Backfiring IP: Logged
Message: 1994 3.9L V6 140,000 miles When I let off of the gas pedal going down hill or decelerating to a light I get very slight but continuous backfiring. If I apply the slightest gas it goes away. My last Dakota was dead silent Is this the sign of problem to come? Am I correct in assuming there should be no fuel flow when the truck is decelerating with no gas pedal?
