I have a 1992 Dodge Dakota and it always starts fine, but tonight it started fine and ran for about 9 seconds and then died. At the same time my cigarette lighter stopped working, as I have my GPS plugged in there and that's how I noticed. Now the truck will turn over fine but just wont start. Is the fuel pump and cig lighter on the same fuse?

truck will start sometimes and die like turning the key off then it wont restart tried to read the engine code but it flashes to fast to count after clearing the code witch takes a good while it will start and might sit and run all day. I can hear the relays kicking in and out some times very fast have checked splices and resealed with liquid tape also some times when trying to read the code light dosent come on just tach jumps up and down HELP
